THE WARHAWK ART OF WAR

MORE THAN
A UNIFORM.

The moment you put on a Warhawks uniform, you represent more than yourself. Your name, family, teammates, coaches, school, and community travel with you. Being an athlete is a privilege, and that privilege carries a higher expectation: work hard in class, make good choices, treat people kindly, and show others what responsible leadership looks like.

Be a student.Be a good citizen.Be a teammate.Show sportsmanship.Be a role model.
“When I put on this uniform, I accept the responsibility that comes with it. I will work in the classroom, serve my community, respect the game, protect my teammates, show good sportsmanship, choose kindness, tell the truth, and represent the Warhawks with effort, humility, courage, and pride.”The Warhawk Player Pledge · Team playbook, page 17

KNOW THE PROGRAM

THE NEST

Our program & history

Established in 1995, Germantown Hawks Youth Football offers organized tackle football for students in grades 5–8. The nonprofit Germantown Youth Football Club serves students who live in the Germantown School District or attend a school within its boundaries.

The club participates in the Wisconsin All American Youth Football League. It operates independently of the school district and the Germantown Recreation Department.

Ages & season

Teams play at the fifth-, sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade levels. The season runs from August through October; the eighth-grade grand championship is typically the first weekend of November.

Practice & game information

Practices generally last about two hours. Teams may practice up to five times a week in August and generally three times a week once school starts. Coaches provide the team’s exact practice schedule.

Saturday game times are generally 9:00 a.m. for eighth grade, 10:45 a.m. for seventh, 12:15 p.m. for sixth, and 1:45 p.m. for fifth. Times can change; follow the team schedule.

Equipment & uniforms

Players provide their own cleats and five-pad girdle. The club supplies the remaining equipment and uniforms, which must be returned clean and in good condition at the end of the season.

Step-by-step gear checks and equipment care are in the protected player and parent pages.
